The Dickson Poon School of Law is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Law, who will contribute to the teaching, research, and other academic and professional activities at the Dickson Poon School of Law.  

The successful candidate’s principal teaching contribution will be either in Public or Criminal Law in our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.  

The successful candidate's will be actively involved in the administration and academic life of a world leading law school and will carry out administrative duties in the Dickson Poon School of Law.  

The successful candidate will be responsible to the Executive Dean.  

The Dickson Poon School of Law at King’s College London is one of the oldest law schools in England and recognised globally as one of the best law schools in the world. The School is ranked 15th in the world and 5th in the UK in the QS World University Rankings for Law 2024. In the 2021 Research Excellence Framework (REF) exercise, the School was rated 4th in relation to its 4* publications and 6th for research power in the UK.

There is a strong tradition of engagement with the legal profession.

This post will be offered on an indefinite contract (subject to a probation period).
