Job Description
Redlands Community College is seeking qualified candidates to apply for a Human Resources Assistant position. This is a part-time position, working up to 25 hours per week, earning $16.48 per hour.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to: maintain leave and compensatory time records for all full-time employees; maintain online classroom for Redlands Safety Training; monitor NIMS training and safety training completions and delinquency; submit reports regarding hiring; issue and process forms through DocuSign; respond to staff and public inquiries; process daily email and physical mail; process employment applications; post vacant positions, schedule interviews and mail letters to applicants not hired for the position; and maintain personnel files for all employees; process, scan and archive old personnel and payroll files; audit benefit claims; process and enter new employees into college software; and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications include: High School diploma or GED; skilled in Microsoft Word and Excel; detail-oriented; ability to establish effective working relationships with faculty, staff and students; strong organizational skills, excellent oral and written communication skills; dependable and self-motivated; ability to multi-task and prioritize in a changing work environment; and be able to work a flexible schedule when needed.

Clery Statement
Redlands Community College is committed to providing a safe place to live, work, study and visit. Part of this effort includes sharing information regarding the safety and security of our campuses.
Redlands provides email notifications to all students, faculty and staff when a Clery Crime occurs in or near Redlands Community College campus or any of its sites. These notifications are primarily sent if the incident poses an ongoing safety threat as determined by the President of the College or his designee. The act requires colleges and universities to make “timely warnings,” known as “Safety Alerts” at Redlands, to campus community members about specific types of crime if an ongoing threat is believed to exist.
